With Icelandic horses in particular, the bridle often exerts additional pressure on the neck due to a voluminous mane and mop of hair. The headpiece of our anatomical Fjóla snaffle therefore reduces the pressure on the poll and sensitive nerve tracts. The gap provides additional space for the poll. The curved shape gives your Icelandic horse’s ears more space.

Our anatomical noseband is designed in such a way that, when adjusted correctly, important arteries in the cheekbone area remain free and your Icelandic horse’s breathing is therefore not restricted. It also offers enough space for the bit ring and thus prevents chafing on the horse’s sensitive mouth. The pressure is therefore evenly distributed through the side rings of the flash strap.
