Care instructions
Without the right care, even very high-quality leather will crack over time and become susceptible to breakage. Permanent exposure to sunlight or mildew caused by damp storage damage the material and should therefore be avoided at all costs. Incorrect leather care with too much saddle soap can also damage the leather.
The right leather care
To ensure longevity and guarantee that you can enjoy our products for a long time, we recommend wiping the leather with a damp cloth after each use and removing light soiling such as sweat, hair and sand.
Ideally, the leather should be thoroughly cleaned once a month and then greased with leather balm or leather oil. The grease ensures that the leather remains elastic and no cracks or tears form.
Front strap
We recommend regularly and carefully removing hair from the browband and cleaning it with a damp cloth. Oil and saddle soap should only be used very sparingly. Please note that the rhinestones can become “blind” and lose their shine if the wrong cleaning agents are used.
You should also regularly check the setting of the stones and, if necessary, close any open hooks by pressing them lightly.
Tip
Very small rhinestones can be prevented from falling out by applying nail varnish/clear nail polish at certain points.
